Former Atlanta Cop Had Drugs, Guns in Apartment

Christopher Kitcho resigned from the department on Aug. 19 in the face of an internal investigation. He then impersonated a police officer.

Atlanta police have conducted a raid at an apartment owned by a former fellow officer and discovered illegal drugs, WSB-TV has learned.

Police say that Christopher Kitcho was the subject of an internal investigation when he resigned from the force on Aug. 19. He was later arrested in DeKalb County for impersonating a police officer.

According to a statement from Atlanta police, Kitcho flashed a badge at a DeKalb officer following an alcohol related citation. This arrest spurred a further investigation which led to the raid of Kitcho’s apartment.
