Freight Brokerage Firm Creating 75 Jobs in Atlanta

Total Quality Logistics is investing $1 million into a new Atlanta facility over the next three years.

A large freight brokerage firm has decided to come to Atlanta by investing $1 million into a new satellite office and plans to hire 75 new workers within the next three years.

Total Quality Logistics plans to take over office space in Midtown and set up its southeast satellite office in their new facility. Most of the new jobs will be related to sales, according to a release from the office of Gov. Nathan Deal.

β€œIt is important for us to locate in states that are committed to economic development and job growth,” said TQL Executive Vice President Kerry Byrne in the release. β€œOur national satellite offices are extremely important in our ability to grow market share and continue to be the leading service provider in the third party logistics industry.”

Georgia’s business-friendly environment, highly skilled workforce, and Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport were key factors which led to Total Quality Logistics setting up shop in Midtown, the release added.

Total Quality Logistics links customers who need truckload freight shipped with shipping companies that have the space and expertise to move the goods. It is headquartered in Cincinnati, OH.
