Fundraiser in Buckhead Monday for Vulnerable Children

The Buckhead Club is hosting a fundraiser next week which will feature auctions, live music, complimentary appetizers, and a wine tasting for a missionary organization which serves vulnerable children around the world.

The 11th Annual Charity Auction and Wine Tasting Social will kick off at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 24. From 6 to 7 p.m., a silent auction will be held featuring items from Tiffany & Co., tickets to theater events, dining gift certificates, and pieces created by Atlanta’s artistic community. A live auction begins at 7 p.m. sharp.

Attendees who bring a monetary donation to the event are entitled to participate in a wine tasting including the finest vintages from across the globe. The wines were donated by Bacco Fine Wines.

All proceeds from Monday’s event will go to Mustard Seed Communities, a nonprofit missionary organization which began in 1978 as a home for disabled children in Jamaica and has since expanded its mission to care for disabled, physically and mentally ill children, and children stricken with HIV/AIDS in Jamaica, Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic, and Zimbabwe.
