Funny Faces with Jim Carrey in Buckhead
The Buckhead Patch Pics of the Day showcase the actor's book signing appearance Saturday afternoon.
Actor Jim Carrey spent more than three hours at a Buckhead bookstore on Saturday afternoon signing copies of his new childrenβs book and posing for pictures with many of the hundreds of fans who came to meet him.
Carrey, who is currently in Atlanta filming Dumb and Dumber To, was at the Barnes & Noble, located at 2900 Peachtree Road, to help promote his new book, "How Roland Rolls."
The two-time Golden Globe Award winner appeared to be in good spirits as he chatted with the people who waited in line for hours for the chance to meet him.

Carrey said he was enjoying his time in Atlanta, telling Buckhead Patch that one of the favorite spots heβs dined at is the westsideβs Bacchanalia. "I'm enjoying the food here. Way too much," he added.
According to Carrey, the 64-page book is βa story about a wave named Roland whoβs afraid that, one day, when he hits the beach, his life will be over. But when he gets deep, heβs struck by the notion that heβs not just a wave β heβs the whole big, wide ocean! It shows humanityβs interconnectedness through the metaphor of a wave in the ocean.βΒ
