Furkids Pet of the Week - Bradley ...

Bradley is a very special Furkid with a unique story.

Bradley came to Furkids as one of a standard-issue litter of tabbies. They thrived in foster care, but Bradley had a swollen tummy, and it didn’t resolve with worm meds, which usually cure Kitten Belly. We assumed the worst. The most likely cause of abdominal swelling in kittens is feline infectious peritonitis, a deadly infection. Bradley went straight to the hospital, where his med team discovered he did NOT have FIP, thank goodness, he had a mass on his kidney! Surgery solved his problem. Now Bradley is a svelte and happy little guy, ready for his Forever Home. He has just one special need - he cannot β€œfree feed”. Bradley needs to be fed on a schedule. If he eats too much at one time, it overwhelms his single kidney. In every other way, this cutie is just like any other kitten. Bradley lost some of his kittenhood to surgery, but he still has plenty of Kitten Antics to keep you amused...apply to adopt Bradley today at www.furkids.org
