FULTON COUNTY, GA — Atlanta police have arrested and charged a man in connection to the shooting death of a woman over a bowling ball, according to the Atlanta Police Department.
The woman, identified as 31-year-old LaKevia Jackson, had a son with local rapper Young Thug. The Metro Fun Center shooting happened around 11 p.m. March 18.
Twenty-five-year-old Joshua Fleetwood has been charged with felony murder, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to police.

"We are happy that Mr. Fleetwood is in our custody," said Atlanta Homicide Commander Ralph Woolfolk in a video. About 41 percent of Atlanta's homicides are contributed to escalating disputes, he said.
Fleetwood was on a date when he got into an argument with Jackson’s family, who was bowling on an adjacent lane, Woolfolk said. Outside, two women continued to argue and guns were retrieved from their cars from people on each side. As a shooter drove off, shots were still fired and a bullet hit Jackson.

Fleetwood was transported to the Atlanta Police Department Headquarters before being taken to the Fulton County Jail, according to police.
According to Woolfolk, Fleetwood is a conflicted felon with 16 cycles through the criminal justice system. He's been convicted of narcotics-related crimes, fraud, criminal trespassing and eluding police.
"This was simply an escalated dispute, as depicted on video," Woolfolk said.
Jackson's mother, Sherina Jackson, told WAGA-TV that her daughter was celebrating a birthday at the bowling alley with a close family friend that night.
