Garbage Collection Schedule Announced for Holiday Week

The Department of Public Works is collecting garbage through Sunday to make up for pickups missed because of the snowstorm. Collections resumed Friday, the department said.

The department also announced that no collections will be made Monday, the Martin Luther King holiday.  Here is the adjusted schedule for next week:

• Monday, Jan. 17.
  No collections due to M L King, Jr. Holiday 
  
  
• Tuesday, Jan. 18.
  Collection of regular Monday route. 
  
  
• Wednesday, Jan. 19.
  Collection of regular Tuesday route. 
  
  
• Thursday, Jan.20.
  Collection of regular Wednesday route.
  
  
• Friday, Jan. 21.
  Collection of regular Thursday route.
