Georgia Connections Academy receives Community Leadership Alliance Grant
The Georgia Parent Teacher Organization awarded a Community Leadership Alliance challenge grant of $1,500 to Georgia Connections Academy

The Georgia Parent Teacher Organization (GAPTO), a division of the Georgia Charter Schools Association (GCSA) awarded a Community Leadership Alliance challenge grant of $1,500 to Georgia Connections Academy, the stateβs top academic performing virtual charter school and provider of a free, completely online K-12 education to students in every county.
In 2014, GACA students outscored their peers across the state on the SAT and was also the top performing Georgia virtual school on this graduate exam. According to a survey, 36 percent of families who chose to enroll at GACA felt the need for an alternative local public school and 94 percent of all GACA parents would recommend the school to other families.
At a special reception sponsored by Association of American Educators, GAPTO presented Georgia Connections Academy, along with other recognized institutions, with this great honor.
