Gingrich Camp Expecting Georgia Win
Candidate's daughter calls state 'stronghold' for rest of Southern strategy
Newt Gingrich's Buckhead headquarters were quiet Tuesday afternoon as his supporters got ready for a big Tuesday night celebration for a Georgia victory.
"We expect to win Georgia handily tonight," campaign spokesperson Susan Meyers said. She said most of Giingrich's volunteers were preparing for his victory celebration in Cobb County, at which he and his wife, Callista, will appear.
Meanwhile, right next door on Maple Drive, Mitt Romney's campaign office had a handful of volunteers making calls in hopes of Romney picking up Georgia delegates.

Georgia's GOP primary will award 76 delegates, the most of any of the 10 states voting on Super Tuesday, with each congressional district having three delegates at stake. Outside of the congressional district delegates, a total of 34 delegates can be won statewide.
Gingrich's daughter, Kathy Lubbers, who lives in Florida, was at Gingrich's Buckhead headquarters Tuesday afternoon, preparing to head to her father's campaign party at the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel. She said that Gingrich considers Georgia the stronghold of his Southern strategy. The candidate's sole primary win so far was in South Carolina, and he's favored to add Georgia Tuesday night. Then he will set his sights on Alabama and Tennessee, voting next Tuesday.
