- Atlanta City Council Member Mary Norwood, recently called out city of Atlanta officials for what she asserts is years-long neglect of the Buckhead neighborhood, which has resulted in the emergence of the Buckhead City Movement. City of Atlanta Chief Operating Officer Lisa Gordon penned a five-page response letter to Norwood, wherein she stated that the assertions made by Norwood lacked context. - ICYMI: Wednesday was National Voter Registration Day. City of Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens has launched a non-partisan group called Atlanta Votes in an effort to keep eligible voters engaged. (Free: City of Atlanta Government Facebook)
