Group Breaks into Buckhead Sporting Goods Store

The burglars were seen fleeing the scene in two vehicles early Monday morning.

Atlanta police are looking for a group of people caught on surveillance cameras breaking into a sporting goods store in Buckhead on Monday morning.

At least eight people broke into the Dick’s Sporting Goods on Peachtree Road at 4:48 a.m. after one of the group threw a rock through the glass door, an Atlanta police report shows. The group made off with “different store items,” the report says.

The burglars are described as “wearing different colored hoodies with dark colored pants.”

A security officer on scene told police that his cameras captured the group leaving the store in a white vehicle, followed by a silver Dodge Charger. The vehicles were last seen travelling southbound on Peachtree Road toward Lenox Square Mall, according to the report.
