Gypsy Kitchen Open for Business in Buckhead Atlanta

The Spanish-themed restaurant showcases delicacies and staple foods of several different regions of Spain.

Gypsy Kitchen, a Spanish-themed restaurant owned and operated by the team behind Smokebelly BBQ, Saltwater Grill, and Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails, opened its doors to visitors of the new Buckhead Atlanta development on Wednesday.

According to a press release, the restaurant highlights the unique food culture of several regions of Spain, and boasts menu items such as shareable snacks, small plates, and communal-style dinner options.

Gypsy Kitchen’s executive chef Randy Lewis says the eclectic menu is a mix of traditional Spanish dishes and state-of-the-art culinary creations.

“There are so many different types of cuisine to play with in that area, from the southwest coast of Andalusia with its Moorish influences, to the Basque and Galician regions of the north to Catalonia in the east. While the menu draws inspiration from the culinary riches of Spain, it is also infused with some Moroccan and Indian flavors as well,” Lewis said in the release.

Atlanta Eater reports that Gypsy Kitchen is currently open from 5 to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Lunch service will begin soon, but no date has been confirmed yet.
