Family law attorney Jon Hedgepeth, founding partner at Hedgepeth, Heredia & Rieder in Atlanta, has been selected for Atlanta magazineβs βSuper Lawyersβ rankings of Georgia attorneys.
Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The list will appear in the March 2016 issue of Atlanta magazine.

Hedgepeth frequently lectures at Continuing Legal Education family law seminars and is recognized as an authority on prenuptial agreements in Georgia.
A native Atlantan, Hedgepeth earned his B.A. degree from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, and his J.D. degree from Mercer University, Macon, Georgia. He is licensed to practice before the State Bar of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia, and the Supreme Court of Georgia.

Currently, Hedgepeth serves on committees for the Westminster Schools in Atlanta, Washington & Lee University and the University of Richmond. He and his family are active members of Northside United Methodist Church where he serves as Stewardship Chairman. He participates in the Pro Bono Project of the State Bar of Georgia, and the Buckhead Christian Ministry. He co-founded Second Saturdays, a community service of therapists, mediators and certified divorce financial planners open to women who want to learn more about the process of divorce.
Hedgepethβs wife Jane is a real estate attorney and they have two teenaged children. They live in the Buckhead neighborhood of Atlanta.
