Here are the top three stories today in Buckhead:
- According to police, an intoxicated person was responsible for vandalizing the historic Buckhead Theatre overnight on Thursday. The individual was taken into custody after smashing the glass doors and several windows; no injuries or stolen items were reported. Theatre staff quickly began repairs, and all shows for the weekend are expected to go on as scheduled. (CBS 46 News)
- The Piedmont Park Arts Festival is taking place in the heart of Midtown, just a short drive from Buckhead, this weekend. From 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, attendees can explore the works of over 250 visual artists. Food and beverage will also be available for purchase. - A woman who disappeared from her Buckhead townhome was found in her vehicle and pronounced dead at the hospital. 26-year-old Savannah Sheats, who had gone missing from her home on Tuesday, was discovered by Atlanta police on Thursday afternoon. Police say Sheats' death was consistent with suicide. (WSB Atlanta)

- An Atlanta city judge will soon stand trial on a charge of violating the city's noise ordinance at a Buckhead party. Judge Terrinee Gundy is scheduled to go on trial in October. (WSB Atlanta)
