Hole New Problem for Road Along Chastain Park

Buckhead motorists driving near Chastain Park will once again have to grapple with a sinkhole on a road that fronts the park, WSB-TV reports.

The sinkhole on West Wieuca Road near Dudley Lane re-opened on Friday, washing away repairs made when the hole first formed in August, WSB-TV says.

According to the station, heavy rains in early August combined with construction crews laying underground fiber optic cables caused the ground under the road to give way and form the sinkhole.
