Home for the Holidays’ ADAC Day of Design is a morning and afternoon of design seminars, during which Home for the Holidays designer and industry experts will share insight into their design and writing processes. Guests will hear from William H. Harrison, Robert Brown, Eleanor Roper, Mandy Kellogg Rye, Elizabeth Ralls and Jared Paul. Full seminar descriptions are available below:
o 10 a.m., The Well-Appointed Home: Discover Details that Make the Difference with William H. Harrison, AIA, Harrison Design – guests will enjoy a light breakfast while Bill, renowned architect of this year’s home, shares a preview of the “must-see” design elements found throughout Millwood Manor, this year’s home
o 11 a.m., Designing from a Blank Canvas: Steps to Creating a Perfect Room with Robert Brown, Robert Brown Interior Design – award-winning designer Robert Brown will share his own process for transforming empty rooms into inviting spaces. Guests, will learn how the designer of this year’s Home for the Holidays kitchen combines unifying elements with singular statement pieces to create timeless spaces perfectly tailored to clients’ varying lifestyles.

o 1 p.m., Artful Editing: Cultivate a Personal Style in Interior Design with Eleanor Roper, Style Director & Editor at Large – Join sought-after editorial magazine interior style and art director, Eleanor on a journey of discovery to gain inspirational ideas for blending materials, objects, color, art and one’s own personality to create a style of your own.
