Ideas Sought for Comprehensive Development Plan

Planning Department asks residents to participate in online survey. Second community meeting is Tuesday.

The city's Office of Planning is asking residents to participate in an online survey for the development of the 2011 Comprehensive Development Plan.Β

The office is also holding its second round of community meetings on the Comprehensive Development Plan. The "character areas" meeting for NPUs A,B,C and D will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Atlanta Ballet-Michael C. Carlos Dance Center, 1695 Marietta Blvd. NW.

The Comprehensive Development Plan is the city’s guide to growth and development for the next several years. The meeting Tuesday will allow residents to give information about the distinctive "character" of their communities. This is a new component of the plan. At a , residents gave their ideas and concerns about what needs improving in their communities.
