Infrastructure Bond Early Voting Underway in Buckhead
An Atlanta City Council member told the Buckhead CID that the dearth of information on specific projects paid for by the bond is frustrating

Since Saturday, voters in Buckhead have been able to cast their ballots on a referendum for a $252 million bond meant to drastically improve Atlanta’s infrastructure.
However, nobody knows what, if any, improvements Buckhead could expect if the bond is approved.
According to BuckheadView, Atlanta City Councilman John Shook told the board of the Buckhead CID last Tuesday that he had never seen such secrecy from city hall, and added that the lack of a comprehensive project list this close to the day of the referendum was frustrating.

Buckhead CID has given the city a list of infrastructure improvements needed in Buckhead, but not even Shook knows how many can be completed with whatever amount of money would be doled out for the area from the $252 million pot.
Early voting will take place at the Chastain Park Recreation Center between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. between Feb. 28 and March 13. The referendum itself will be held on March 17.
