The department said the announcement is the result of a trip Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal and economic development officials made in May to Europe, when the Georgia group met with Munich Re and Windsor Health representatives.
WHG has leased office space in the 3405 Piedmont building in Buckhead and has a smaller office in the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, the news release said. The company employs more than 1,000 people in operational centers in Nashville, Tenn. and Bellingham, Wash., and at regional sales offices across the country.
