Italy Native Named Director at Seasons Hospice in Atlanta

Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care of Georgia is pleased to announce the appointment of Fiorella Garuba to Director of Business Operations for Seasons Hospice in Atlanta.

Garuba comes to Seasons from Gentiva Hospice, where she most recently served as Regional Business Operational Specialist. Prior to that, she served as project assistant at Saint Joseph’s Translational Research Institute in Atlanta and was a successful business owner, operating AG & Associates, Inc., in Norcross, Ga., for 13 years.

In her new role at Seasons, Garuba oversees and supports all aspects of the branch’s business operations, including finance, human resources, information technology, and contracting.

“Seasons truly makes patients and families their main priority,” Garuba said. “This is a wonderful organization, and I’m thrilled to be here.”

Garuba studied healthcare administration at Georgia Perimeter College and plans to seek certification as a hospice and palliative care administrator in the future.

A native of the Abruzzo region of Italy, Garuba, her parents and her 10 brothers and sisters immigrated to the United States in 1971. Every year, they celebrate the anniversary of their arrival in the U.S.
