Kaiser Permanente of Georgia Announces New Chief of Cardiology

Kaiser Permanente of Georgia today announced Ameen Person, MD, as chief of cardiology after serving the medical group as assistant chief of cardiology. Dr. Person holds a bachelor’s degree from Morehouse College and received his medical degree from Wayne State School of Medicine in Detroit. He completed his residency in internal medicine at The University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Additionally, Dr. Person completed a fellowship in cardiology at The University of North Carolina, and another in advance cardiology imaging at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center.
