Atlantan Laura Rossini, a former dancer with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Donald Byrd/The Group, has been named Studio Manager of TADA – The Atlanta Dance Academy in Midtown (www.tadaatlanta.com). In addition to teaching a variety of classes at the studio, her new responsibilities include working with TADA Founder Kara Jacobson to identify and recruit nationally-recognized guest teaching artists, foster strong relationships with other Atlanta arts organizations and assist with the day-to-day operations of the dance studio.

“I am thrilled that Laura has joined our team not only as teaching faculty, but to assist in building our local and national presence in the dance community,” said Jacobson. “There are very few dance professionals in the Atlanta area with her depth of experience in both teaching and performing. Laura and I trained together as young dancers with Southern Ballet of Atlanta and share the same vision for creating an inclusive dance experience for people of all ages and abilities. She consulted with me as I designed the studio space and has been teaching at TADA since our Grand Opening this past October. I’m very excited to have her on staff both as an administrator and teacher.”
