Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Leslie Priest, DVM to its practice. She joins veterinarians Dr. Sharon Nath, Dr. Tara Rittle, Dr. Edith Rogers, Dr. Keri Weyl and practice founder Dr. Duffy Jones.

The addition of carefully selected, highly skilled team members, such as Dr. Priest, ensures that our practice remains small yet properly staffed to remain accessible and dedicate ample time caring for our patients, ultimately resulting in healthy, happy pets and their owners, expressed Dr. Duffy Jones.

Prior to joining Peachtree Hills Animal Hospital, Dr. Priest worked for six years in animal welfare, serving pet owners who were financially struggling. Her experience of working with pets that may not have received timely veterinary care exposed her to a large amount of very unusual, often advanced medical and surgical cases. Dr. Priest has also done a good amount of work in spay/neuter programs to help control the problem of homeless pets ending up in shelters. Her veterinary special interests include dentistry and geriatric medicine.

Dr. Priest grew up in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and received her undergraduate degree in biology from Florida State University. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from The University of Florida in 2005, graduating with honors. Following graduation, Dr. Priest spent nearly three years working at a practice in Marietta, GA.

Dr. Priest shares her home with her husband, Mike, their two kids, and two dogs, Ziggy and Murphy. When she is not being a veterinarian, she enjoys spending time with her family, hiking and vegetable gardening.
