Atlanta police are trying to figure out how a disturbing image of a naked man appeared on a digital billboard in Buckhead this weekend.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, people in the area of Peachtree and East Paces Ferry roads on Saturday were acquainted with some very intimate parts of a man’s anatomy which were displayed on the billboard. According to 11 Alive News, some people were so disturbed by the shocking image that they called 911.

An Atlanta police spokesperson told the station that they had to cut power to the billboard to stop the image from appearing. The AJC reports that personnel from the Department of Homeland Security, Georgia Power, and Atlanta Fire Rescue were called to the scene to deal with the situation.

The AJC adds that the billboards themselves are at the center of a legal spat between the city and the business owner over whether the billboards violate outdoor signage laws. The image the billboards displayed on Saturday certainly broke the laws of good taste.

Police told 11 Alive that they’re looking into the incident to determine whether the billboards were hacked or if the image was placed in the advertising rotation as a prank by an employee; a police report obtained by 11 Alive claims Monumedia, the owners of the billboards, said that several individuals outside the company have access to the billboards’ controls. The FBI is now involved with the investigation, police told the AJC.

According to Monumedia’s website, the billboards are seen by 193,117 people a week.
