Local Chefs throw Potluck Fundraiser July 1st

Sayama, the son of pastry chef Taria Camerino (Sugar Coated Radical, JCT. Kitchen & Bar, King + Duke, No. 246 and The Optimist) is proof that talent can definitely run in the family. After completing an extensive interview process, Sayama has been invited to attend the school of his dreams – the progressive boarding school, Arthur Morgan School. He is only one of 28 children accepted into the program and is attempting to raise the $26,000 required for tuition. To help him reach his goal, Taria and Jeff Myers have enlisted some of Atlanta’s best chefs to throw a potluck fundraiser on Monday, July 1 from 7-10 p.m. at the Sound Table. Along with Taria, participating chefs include: · Ria Pell, Ria’s Bluebird · Angus Brown, Octopus Bar · Pamela Moxley, Miller Union · Adam Evans, The Optimist · Guy Wong, Miso Izakaya · Joey Zelinka, Mar · Travis Carroll, Top FLR · E.J. Hodgkinson, JCT. Kitchen & Bar · Cooper Miller, Southbound · Alex Friedman, P’Cheen Tickets are $50 plus service fees and include food and three cocktails. Music will be provided by Jeff and Karl Injex.
