Students at Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School participated in the first Trout in the Classroom trout release for the 2016-17 school year. The event was sponsored by the Upper Chattahoochee Chapter of Trout Unlimited and included casting demonstrations and conservation discussions.

Trout in the Classroom is an environmental education program in which students raise trout from eggs to fry, monitor tank water quality, engage in stream habitat study, learn to appreciate water resources, begin to foster a conservation ethic, and grow to understand ecosystems.
