Man Abducted in Buckhead, Forced to Withdraw Money From ATMs
Police believe three men kidnapped the victim, drove him to various ATMs in Atlanta, then returned the victim to his home and stole his car.

Atlanta police are investigating the kidnapping of a Buckhead man, who says that three men forced him at gunpoint to withdraw money from various ATMs in the city.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that the man told police he was getting out of his car at his home at Mathieson Road at roughly 1:30 a.m. Thursday when he was forced into an orange Dodge Neon by three men. According to the AJC, the victim said one of the abductors was wielding a shotgun.
Once they had their victim, the three kidnappers drove him to various ATMs near Piedmont, Pharr, and Peachtree roads and forced him to withdraw $700 from his bank account. An Atlanta police spokesman told the AJC that the kidnappers then returned the man to his home, made him write a check for $2,500, then stole his car.
