Man Brandishes Gun in Buckhead Hotel Bar
Police were able to subdue the man without firing a shot at him, a witness said.

A man has been arrested and charged with pointing a gun at another after he waved a pistol inside the bar of a hotel in Buckhead over the weekend.

The as-of-yet unidentified man pulled out the gun inside the InterContinental Hotel just after midnight Sunday, sending patrons to the deck. A local civil rights attorney who was at the hotel at the time told WSB-TV he saw an Atlanta police officer with his sidearm drawn who managed to get the man to drop the handgun without firing a shot.
The man faces additional charges of public drunkenness and aggravated assault, police told WSB-TV.
