Man Charged With Vehicular Homicide in Buckhead Accident
A motorcyclist was killed on Sunday when a pickup truck pulled out in front of him on Buford Highway.

A Bogart man is in custody at the Fulton County Jail Monday after he was arrested and charged for a Sunday afternoon traffic accidentΒ in Buckhead which left one person dead.
Atlanta police say that Kendrick Hamilton was driving a black 2007 Chevy Tahoe on Buford Highway when he attempted to turn left into a private drive in the 2600 block of the highway. Hamilton did not notice a motorcycle traveling in the southbound lane when he pulled out to make his turn and failed to yield the right of way to the oncoming vehicle, police said.
The motorcycle attempted to brake but went up on its front wheel, police said, and hit Hamiltonβs truck in the left southbound lane of Buford Highway. The operator of the motorcycle was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he died.

Fulton County Jail records indicate Hamilton has been charged with second-degree vehicular homicide and failure to yield the right of way when turning.
