Man Shot at Buckhead Restaurant Found Injured 2 Miles Away: Cops
The man was injured after police say he was shot during an argument in the parking lot of Toast before he was found on Peachtree Road.
ATLANTA, GA — A victim who police say was shot at a high-end Buckhead restaurant Wednesday afternoon has been hospitalized after being located by officers two miles away.
Atlanta Police have not revealed details about the victim, who was found in the 3100 block of Peachtree Road Northeast. Police were able to determine the man, who had been shot, became involved in a verbal dispute with another man in the parking lot of Toast, a popular brunch eatery in the 2700 block of Lenox Road, police said.
The altercation took place around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, when the argument escalated and resulted in the man being shot, police said. The man, who was found in stable condition on Peachtree Road, was taken to a local hospital.

Police are uncertain of how the man got to the Peachtree Road location after being shot, a department spokesman said.
Police have not released any details about the man they are seeking in connection with the shooting.
