The Dragon Boat Festival has a history of over 2000 years! The focus of most celebrations involves eating zongzi (sticky rice treats wrapped in bamboo leaves), and racing dragon boats. Children are invited to learn about this exciting Chinese holiday by listening to “Celebrating the Dragon Boat Festival” by Sanmu Tang and tasting zongzi. Then, guests can make their very own hand crafted sailboat!
