Merrill Lynch Advisor Rod Westmoreland Recognized by The Financial Times

Westmoreland Named to the 2016 "Top 400 Financial Advisors" List

Merrill Lynch announced today that Rod Westmoreland, Managing Director in the Private Banking and Investments Group, has been named to The Financial Times’ 2016 list of America’s Top 400 Financial Advisors.

The β€œFinancial Times’ Top 400 Financial Advisors” is a select group of individuals who have a minimum of $250 million in assets under management (AUM) and ten or more years of industry experience. Qualified Financial Advisors were scored on six attributes: AUM, AUM growth rate, compliance records, experience, industry certifications and online accessibility. Financial Advisors also had to commit to complete anonymous quarterly sentiment surveys for the FT.

A 37-year veteran at Merrill Lynch, Westmoreland is among a select cadre of specially trained and accredited advisors in the Private Banking and Investment Group (PBIG). He and his team of 14 provide financial advice to ultra-high net worth investors and families with a focus on total portfolio strategies including investment policy, wealth transfer, asset allocation and manager selection. Additionally, the Westmoreland Group has years of experience in the areas of portfolio management, trust services and diversification strategies.

Rod is also a member of the firm’s Advisory Council To Management and a frequent guest speaker for Merrill Lynch in offices across the nation. Rod served in the U.S. Navy for 5 years as a Supply Corp Officer after graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology on an ROTC scholarship. He is a member of the Buckhead Church and currently lives in Atlanta with his two children.
