More Security Cameras Coming to Buckhead

The city is spending up to $300k for more than 20 cameras.

ATLANTA, GA — At least 23 new security cameras will be installed in Buckhead.

The Atlanta City Council last week approved up to $300,000 for the cameras, according to Buckhead View.

The Atlanta Police Foundation is overseeing the installation.

The cameras are part of the Council District 8 Public Safety Master Plan, sponsored by Councilwoman Yolanda Adrean.

The cameras would feed into the police department’s Atlanta Video Integration Center. Once connected, they would become the property of the police and the city.
