New Senate District 6 through Buckhead could draw well-financed contestants, columnist says
The race for the new Senate District 6 could be the most expensive legislative campaign in state history, Atlanta Journal-Constitution political insider columnist Jim Galloway says.
The Senate District, now represented by Democratic Sen. Doug Stoner, will stretch from Smyrna-Vinings through Sandy Springs and into Buckhead, under maps that gained approval Thursday.
