Here are the top three stories in Buckhead today:

  1. Calling all art lovers: check out a dozen fine art galleries during the last Miami Circle Gallery Stroll of 2022 today (Saturday, Nov. 19). This free event offers the largest collection of fine art galleries in Atlanta and features exhibitions from several local Atlanta artists. (Buckhead Community Improvement District via Facebook)
  2. Mayor Andre Dickens launched a new program aimed at providing low-interest financing for small businesses to buy commercial property. The program, called the Commercial Down Payment Assistance Loan Program, allows small businesses to apply for a loan of 20 percent of the cost of a commercial property.   3. The Metro Atlanta Chamber revealed a new strategy to focus on developing Atlanta's pool of skilled workers. Part of the plan included focusing on skills needed by emerging industries and green energy. The chamber also discussed making sure Atlanta is a safe place to host large events.   • Downtown Atlanta took its next big step towards new development in The Gulch. Mayor Andre Dickens and other community leaders broke ground as part of a development project to transform The Gulch into new residential, entertainment, retail, and office spaces.
