New Security Cameras, License Plate Readers Being Installed in Buckhead

ATLANTA, GA -- The first of 50 new security cameras and license plate readers are now being installed throughout Buckhead.

City Councilwoman Yolanda Adrean says the equipment is part of a master plan for council district 8, according to Atlanta Intown.

The equipment is being integrated into the Loudermilk Operation Shield Video Integration Center, where police monitor the images.

All of the new equipment will be installed by mid March.
