One Dead, Another Shot Outside Buckhead Apartment

ATLANTA, GA -- One person was killed and another was injured early Thursday morning outside a gated Buckhead apartment complex. According to police, the shooting happened at the Allure at Brookwood Apartments on Peachtree Valley Road. Police said the victims were leaving the complex and the suspect was entering at the same time.

Police do not have a motive for the shooting. One victim was killed after being shot several times, while the other was shot in the arm while trying to escape. The suspect ran away after the shooting.

None of the victim's names have been released.
