One Dead In Overnight Buckhead Nightclub Shooting

ATLANTA, GA -- A man was shot and killed outside a Buckhead nightclub early Friday morning when a fight that started inside the club spilled over into the parking lot. Police said the man, only identified as a 35-year-old male, was not involved in the altercation and was just standing in the parking lot outside the Buckhead Loft on Tula Street. The fight broke out around 1 am and at least one person went to their car, got a gun and began shooting at the club's entrance.

Police said five or more rounds were fired. One of the shots hit the victim in the parking lot. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police believe the fight may be gang-related.
