OpenTable: Atlanta's Top Restaurants For August

OpenTable has crunched the numbers on new diner reviews to map out Atlanta's top 10 restaurants so far during the month of August.

Eight out of the top 10 eateries reviewed by OpenTable diners are in Buckhead and Midtown, with the others located in Inman Park and Vinings.

Each month, the online restaurant reservation and review site combs through 400,000 new online diner reviews to compile a list of the best spots for an overall dining experience.

Here are the top 10 Diner's Choice Winners across the city:

#1. Astor Court

• American | Buckhead
• I went on a date for a afternoon tea experience. It was a great place with nice ambience and impressive service. Choice of food was excellent.

#2. Bones

• Steak | Buckhead
• Consistently excellent, both service and food. We had the crab & avocado salad, filet mignon, onion rings, grit fritters, spinach and the mountain or mile high dessert and everything was outstanding! Can't wait to go back!

#3. Marcel

• Steakhouse | West Midtown
• Best steakhouse in Atlanta. Great ambiance and the experience was phenomenal.

#4. UMI

• Sushi | Buckhead
• We had reservations for 9:00 pm and didn't get seated until about 9:45 but it was worth every minute of the wait! Outstanding food and service!

#5. Babette's Cafe

• Contemporary European | Inman Park
• Excellent experience. Ambiance was perfect and the Paella was amazing.

#6. Chama Gaucha- Atlanta

• Brazilian Steakhouse | Buckhead
• Where do I begin. I have been to a few Brazilian steak houses however, this location always takes the cake. The service is amazing. From the hostess, to waiters, and even management. Everyone is so friendly and doesn't hesitate to check up on you. This will be my special date night location from now on. It's worth every penny.

#7. Canoe

• American | Vinings
• We had a great experience. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. The food was excellent. I had the tuna special and my husband had the rabbit. Both were very well prepared and seasoned well with lots of flavor but not too salty.

#8. La Grotta

• Italian | Buckhead
• Had a business dinner for colleagues from out of town, the location is a little qwerky and added to the appeal. Wait staff were amazing, wine list is outstanding. Risotto with duck sausage, veal chop and a veal chop prepared Milanese style were all big hits. Desserts were perfect. Made a note to come back for a special occasion. Would definitely recommend.

#9. Blue Ridge Grill

• American | Buckhead
• Excellent meal as always. Service was very good with seating immediately on reservation time and table request honored. Delicious lobster bisque and lamb chop. The pecan pie with cinnamon ice cream was a nice way to end the meal.

#10. La Tavola Trattoria

• Italian | Virginia Highland
• Our server, Anna, was terrific. She recommended a wine that was perfect for the three of us. La Tavola servers have always been knowledgable about the wine selection. The food was perfect as always.
