Orangetheory Fitness Studio in Chastain Square Gets Makeover
Local Atlanta Owners Stacie Vaillancourt and Laura Salatino Continue to Modernize the Fitness Experience for their Members
Orangetheory® Fitness, the scientifically backed and fast-growing fitness franchise, is debuting a brand-new look and feel for its four-year-old Chastain studio located at 4279 Roswell Road in the Chastain Square shopping center. Renovations took place in January, and members can now enjoy all the benefits of a modern workout studio with new lockers and benches, an updated front desk and lobby area, fresh paint and motivational graphics on the walls.
“Orangetheory Fitness opened the Chastain location in September 2014, and the studio has always buzzed with a great energy from our active, engaged members and dedicated coaches,” said co-owner Stacie Vaillancourt. “Now that we’re in our fourth year, it was time for a refresh so that the visual experience can be as fun and motivational as the exercise. We are excited to share this makeover with our members and proud to bring all the benefits of a just-opened studio to this established location.”
In addition to the studio’s renovation, Orangetheory Fitness also launched a Transformation Challenge on Jan. 29. Participants have eight weeks to attend at least three sessions per week and work towards their weight loss and fitness goals. The male and female who have the highest percentage of weight loss at the end of the Challenge will be announced on March 30 and win $500 each.

“The Transformation Challenge is another motivational way that we can kick off the new year at our Chastain studio,” says Vaillancourt. “Our passion is helping our members lead happier and healthier lives, and accomplishing their fitness goals is a big part of that.”
Vaillancourt and business partner Laura Salatino were co-workers at General Electric Healthcare when they joined an Orangetheory Fitness together and quickly fell in love with the half-cardio, half-weightroom workouts. The duo’s shared interest in fitness, compatible work ethic and talent for customer service led them to become franchisees and then area developers of the brand in the Atlanta area. They opened their first Orangetheory Fitness franchise location in East Cobb in 2013, quickly expanding to a total of 11 studios. They purchased the Chastain location in 2015.

About Orangetheory Fitness:
Orangetheory Fitness (www.orangetheoryfitness.com) is a scientifically designed, one-of-a-kind, group personal training workout broken into intervals of cardiovascular and strength training. Backed by the science of excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), Orangetheory’s heart-rate-monitored workouts are designed to get participants within the target-training zone of 84 percent to 91 percent of their heart rate, which stimulates metabolism and increases energy. Led by highly skilled coaches, each Orangetheory Fitness workout incorporates endurance, strength and power elements through a variety of equipment including treadmills, rowing machines, TRX suspension training and free weights. The end result is more energy, visible toning and the ‘Orange Effect’ – where participants keep burning calories for up to 36 hours post-workout (the Orangetheory Fitness ‘afterburn’) for an average of 500+ total calories burned per every 60-minute workout. The company was ranked #1 on Franchise Times' 2018 Fast & Serious list, #60 in Inc. magazine’s Fastest Growing Private Companies list, #11 on Entrepreneur magazine’s Fastest Growing Franchises list and #48 in Entrepreneur’s 2018 Franchise 500 list of the top franchises in the world.
