Phipps Plaza to Add Build-A-Bear Workshop

Build-A-Bear Workshop will be moving in to Phipps Plaza by the middle of September, Tomorrow’s News Today reports.

The new store will take over the site formerly occupied by Ritzy Twins New York, located on the mall’s second floor across from Justice. The space has also been occupied by United Colors of Benetton.

Build-A-Bear reports that the store will be open by Sept. 5. Tomorrow’s News Today says there is no permit on file with the city for Build-A-Bear to begin operating in the mall and calls the opening date into question.

This is Build-A-Bear’s eighth store in Georgia and first inside the perimeter.
