Police Chase Begins in Buckhead, Into Brookhaven, and Ends in Chamblee
The car that police were chasing turned out to be stolen. Four teenagers were arrested, and two handguns were confiscated.
Atlanta, GA -- A police chase that began near Lenox Square on Wednesday and ended in Chamblee has four teenagers in jail.
The chase began when an Atlanta police officer saw a vehicle make an illegal turn. The Georgia State Patrol was called in as the vehicle then fled from the Peachtree and Lenox road intersection and headed into Brookhaven.
Police told 11Alive the driver was acting recklessly as it proceeded onto Buford Highway and then into Chamblee.

Eventually, the driver crashed into another vehicle at a stop light. No one suffered any serious injuries.
Police arrested four teenaged boys who were in the car with the driver. After the crash, police found two handguns in the car, and later determined the car had been stolen.

The driver of the car could face multiple charges. Police have not said if the passengers face charges.
