Police Investigating Alleged Buckhead Assault by Uber Driver
The victim says she was attacked early Saturday morning after the driver picked her up from a Buckhead bar.
ATLANTA, GA — Police are investigating a sexual assault that reportedly took place early Saturday morning, when the victim alleged she was attacked by an Uber driver.
The woman told police she was leaving the Park Bench pub on Irby Avenue at 2:30 am after spending the evening with a group of high school friends. She called Uber for a ride home, but the driver allegedly took the woman to Chastain Park where he attacked her.
The victim managed to scratch her attacker's face, and he then pushed the woman out of the car near the Galloway School on Wieuca Road.
