Police Return to Lenox Square Mall, Break Up iPhone Dispute
An argument broke out between people lining up to buy the new iPhone 6 at the Buckhead mall Friday morning.
Just hours after Atlanta police were called to Lenox Square Mall in response to a shots fired call that may have arisen due to a dispute, officers were back at the mall breaking up another dispute.
According to WSB-TV, people wanting to buy Apple’s newest iPhone were lining up outside the mall on Friday morning when a scuffle broke out regarding peoples’ places in the line. The mall did not open until 6 a.m. Friday, so the line was forming just off mall property.
Police and mall security responded to the situation and helped everyone find their proper place in line.
