Police: Woman Punches Husband in Face, Runs Over His Leg in Buckhead

A fight between a husband and wife in Buckhead got violent earlier this month, an Atlanta police report obtained by the Buckhead Reporter claims.

According to the report, the couple were fighting inside a car located in the 3000 block of Mornington Drive. The report says that the wife punched the husband in the face during the course of the argument. The husband got out of the car and started walking away, but the report says the wife struck him from behind with the car.

The report says the husband’s leg was run over, and he complained of ankle and leg pain to responding officers. For her part, police say the wife refused to take a field sobriety test and resisted arrest when officers attempted to detain her.
