Post Properties Hosts Duck Pluck Benefitting Special Olympics Georgia
A Duck Pluck is a fun philanthropic event that involves a pool full of rubber ducks, where five lucky ducks are drawn for a raffle
Post Properties is hosting the 10th annual Duck Pluck, which benefits Special Olympics Georgia, this Friday at the Post Chastain pool. Ducks can be purchased for $5 each, and each donation goes to support athletes in the upcoming State Summer Games. $5 will feed one athlete a meal, and $30 will provide gold, silver and bronze medals for one competition.
Prize numbers will be assigned to each yellow rubber duck. All ducks will be placed in the Post Chastain pool for a swim before the five winning ducks are plucked. Cassidy and Tingle from Star 94 will emcee the event.
Prizes for the five ducks that are plucked include a $500 Visa gift card, 16GB iPad Air, $250 Publix gift card, $150 QuikTrip gift card and a Fitbit Flex. The pluck is at 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 14. This event is open to the public.
