Practice, Practice, Practice! Walker School Concert Band Headed for Carnegie Hall
The concert band from The Walker School will perform at the world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York City on March 25. This is a highly competitive, invitation-only opportunity. After the band received two years of Superior ratings and 'Best in Class' at the Heritage Music Festival, it became eligible to audition for the honor of a “Gold Festival” performance, held on the 'big stage' at Carnegie Hall. A video and CD was sent to the judges and the band was accepted.
