Private Bank of Buckhead adds Miriam Roland to team

Private Bank of Buckhead, which also includes Private Bank of Decatur and PrivatePlus Mortgage, has named Miriam Roland a Personal Banker.

“Miriam always works hard to do what’s right for our clients, matching their needs and goals with the right products and services, and helping them understand all of their options,” says Tawanna Robinson, Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President.

Roland was born in Honduras, on Roatan Bay Island, which she tells us has one of the world’s best reefs and beaches, and is an optimal spot for vacationing. A previous job bought her to Atlanta.

“The best part about being in banking is helping our clients and interacting with them every day,” she says. “It’s great getting to know them and finding out how I can best help.”

She is Mom to two young adult sons and a school-aged daughter. Miriam volunteers at her daughter’s school on the PTA Board and in the classroom. She speaks fluent Spanish, enjoys rock climbing, cooking and working out, and plans to take a cruise soon with her daughter.

On January 1, 2017, the bank, including its Private Bank of Decatur and PrivatePlus Mortgage divisions, completed a merger with National Bank of Commerce.
