Nyema Williams-Thomas brings experience, high standards to her role

Private Bank of Buckhead has named Nyema Williams-Thomas as a Loan Administrator Specialist. A seasoned professional, she brings over 20 years of industry experience in the Atlanta market to her role.

“With her background, Nyema understands the importance of developing relationships and earning customer loyalty by being fair, honest and trustworthy,” says Vita Sims, Assistant Vice President and Loan Administration Officer at the bank. “She strives every day to ensure that client banking needs are met with the highest standards, and ensures they have a great experience.”

Originally from Brooklyn, Williams-Thomas graduated from Morgan State University in Baltimore with a BA in Sociology and a Minor in Criminal Justice. Throughout college, she worked as a baker’s assistant and fondly recalls her time spent in the bakery as one of her favorite jobs, outside of banking. Shortly after graduation, she relocated to Atlanta.

“This was the best decision that I have ever made,” she says, adding, “there is absolutely no better place to raise a family.”

Nyema currently lives in Atlanta with her beautiful and vivacious daughter, Brooke, along with their cat LuLu. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her parents, who live nearby.

Private Bank of Buckhead brings a private banking approach to all clients across all functions of the bank. The bank – now in its 10th year – is designated a Preferred Lender by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and includes a dedicated mortgage solutions unit, PrivatePlus Mortgage. Private Bank of Buckhead is located in Piedmont Center (Building Three). Private Bank of Decatur is located at 150 East Ponce de Leon Avenue in Decatur, at the corner of Ponce and Church Street. The mortgage division is represented in both Buckhead and Decatur, and does business nationally – 50 states and the District of Columbia.
