Private Bank of Buckhead included in Inc. 5000

Inc. magazine includes Private Bank of Buckhead (and its Private Bank of Decatur and PrivatePlus Mortgage divisions) on its 35th annual Inc. 5000, which recognizes the nation's fastest-growing private companies. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn and Yelp are Inc. 5000 alumni.

The 2016 Inc. 5000 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth when comparing 2012 to 2015, and includes names like Dollar Shave Club and Yeti Cooler. The top 500 companies are featured in the September issue of Inc. (on newsstands August 23).

The average company on the list achieved three-year growth of 433%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period. As Crawford noted at the bank holding company’s annual meeting this Spring, Private Bank of Buckhead continues to considerably outpace other Atlanta banks in terms of loan growth, profitability (as measured by return on equity) and quality (carrying less than half the non-performing assets than its peers). It also outpaced its peer group statewide.

“Our growth – on which the Inc. 5000 recognition is based – is an affirmation of our commitment to first-class service on a first-name basis,” Crawford says, “and is directly attributable to our focus on providing our clients with access to bankers and mortgage lenders with decision-making authority who are fanatical about the level of service we deliver.”
